Strawberry & Radish Tea Sandwich 草莓櫻桃蘿蔔與羊乳酪抹醬英式三明治

I made this sandwich when I had a little party a few weeks ago and it was very well-received! Not only does it look elegant, it's very simple and delicious at the same time! The creamy spread gives a little hint of lemon and goat cheese flavour, and it blends perfectly with the sweet strawberries and radishes!

Strawberry & Radish Tea Sandwich (makes 8 slices)

4        pieces of bread (I used organic kamut bread here)
1 C     strawberries (1/4" sliced)

1/4 C  radishes, thinly sliced

about 1/2 C Creamy Lemony Goat Cheese Spread

2-3 T   hazelnut oil

1/4 C   basil, thinly chopped

sea salt

black pepper

*T = tbsp, t = tsp, C = cup

1. Trim off all the bread crust and cut each square piece in half to make two rectangular shapes.

2. Rub some of the goat cheese spread on each piece.

3. Arrange both radish and strawberry slices on top of the spread.

4. Drizzle with a little bit of oil and sprinkle the basil leaves, a touch of sea salt and black pepper to finish. Enjoy!

草莓櫻桃蘿蔔與羊乳酪抹醬英式三明治 (8 片)

土司                     4 片

草莓…切片 (0.6cm)  1 杯

櫻桃蘿蔔…切薄片      1/4 杯*若不使用櫻桃蘿蔔,請增加草莓數量

榛果油                  2-3 大匙

蘿勒…切絲             1/4 杯

海鹽與黑胡椒          少許

1. 將麵包四邊較深色的周邊切除,然後切半呈長方型麵包片。(請看圖)

2. 在每片切好的麵包上塗上羊乳酪麵包抹醬。

3. 將櫻桃蘿蔔與草莓擺在麵包上。

4. 淋上ㄧ點榛果油,並撒上蘿勒葉、ㄧ點點的海鹽與黑胡椒即可。
