Grape & Olive Tea Sandwich with Dill 葡萄青橄欖與羊乳酪抹醬英式三明治

This recipe was the first time I tried this combination of toppings on bread, and just like the Strawberry & Radish Tea Sandwich, everyone seemed to really love it at our party! I used local Ontario blue grapes that I found here in season. They're a little smaller than regular grapes, which I thought would be kind of cute, but you can always substitute with regular grapes. With the lemony goat cheese spread and some dill on top, it was the perfect combination of salty-sweet.

Grape & Olive Tea Sandwich with Dill (makes 8)

about 3/4 C grapes, halved (Ideally, the smaller variety of grapes works better. I used Ontario blue grapes, which are about half the size of regular grapes)

4 pc     bread

6 T      pitted green olives, sliced into 1/4" thick

1/2 C   Creamy Lemony Goat Cheese Spread

2 T      extra virgin olive oil

2 T      chopped dill

black pepper

*T = tbsp, t = tsp, C = cup

1. Trim off all the bread crust and cut each square piece in half to make two rectangular shapes.

2. Rub some of the goat cheese spread on each piece.

3. Arrange olives and grapes on top of the spread. *The quantity here is just a guideline. Feel free to use more or less of either of the toppings.

4. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with the chopped dill and top with cracked black pepper to finish. Enjoy!

葡萄青橄欖與羊乳酪抹醬英式三明治 (8 個)

土司                       4 片

小葡萄                    3/4 杯 (*我使用的是加拿大的 Ontario blue grape,但也可以一般或其他種類較小的葡萄來代替)

去籽的青橄欖…切成0.6 cm厚 6 大匙

檬檬羊乳酪抹醬        1/2 杯

冷抽橄欖油               2 大匙

蒔蘿                       2 大匙


1. 將麵包四邊較深色的周邊切除,然後切半呈長方型麵包片。

2. 在每片切好的麵包上塗上一點羊乳酪麵包抹醬。

3. 將切好的葡萄與青橄欖擺在抹醬上。

4. 淋上ㄧ點橄欖油,並撒上ㄧ點點黑胡椒與蒔蘿即可。
