As
we all know, lemon and honey are both very good for sore throats. I
used to make this tea without mint, but we happened to have a bunch
of leftover mint in the fridge, so I decided to try it with mint this
time. Not only does it have a soothing effect for the throat, but it
also adds a nice flavour to the tea! Besides the mint, I used a
little bit of ginger as well because it's warming, This is the
perfect tea if you have a sore throat or cough with fever. Drink it
throughout the day while it's hot. I hope it helps you as it did for
me.
Lemon,
Honey and Mint Tea (makes 1 pt)
A:
3 thin slices of ginger
1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
4 C water
A handful of mint, separate the stem and leaves, keep both
B: 2 heaping T honey
2T lemon juice, freshly squeezed
*T = tablespoon, t = teaspoon, C = cup

1. Combine A and mint
stems in a medium sized pot and cover. Bring it up to a boil, then
turn down the heat to low and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
2. Turn the heat off, and add the mint leaves to steep for 1 minute.
3. Add B and stir until the honey has dissolved. Strain and serve it hot right away! *You can make a 2nd batch by just adding more water to the pot without taking out the mint leaves. When it comes to a boil, turn the heat off and let it sit for 1-2 minutes. Add same amount of B, strain and serve.

大家都知道檸檬和蜂蜜對喉嚨痛很有幫助,每逢感冒,我都會煮這種茶來喝。其實我之前煮的時候並沒有加任何的薄荷,但這次感冒冰箱裡正好剩下一些,想說薄荷對喉嚨也有舒緩的作用,就決定用來試試看。嘗試之後覺得效果也不錯、加上有薄荷茶的味道,非常喜歡。除了薄荷,我還加了一點點的薑,但若有喉嚨很痛或咳嗽的症狀,千萬不要多加,要不然可能會更嚴重。它很適合喉嚨痛與咳嗽者,一天喝好幾次、並且趁熱喝效果會比較好喔~
檸檬蜂蜜薄荷茶
A:
薑
切薄片3片
半顆檸檬 切片
水 4杯
薄荷 1把…將葉子與梗部分開放
B: 蜂蜜 1/4 杯
現擠檸檬汁 2 大匙

將A料與薄荷的梗部一起放入鍋中,蓋上鍋蓋並煮至滾後以小火再慢煮約3分鐘。
2. 熄火後加入薄荷葉並放置1分鐘。
3. 加入B料並攪拌至蜂蜜完全融化即可!*這個茶可以煮兩次,第二次不必將薄荷拿出,只要再加入一樣的水量煮至滾。熄火後放置1、2分鐘,就可以加一樣份量的B料飲用。
